The DNS can take a day or so to propagate.

Any idea when this is going to be fixed?

It's now into the realms of DNS propagation. The fixes are in place, but things are going to be a bit wobbly for up to 72 hours* from the problem first being fixed.

I know of some people that still can't access the site at all.

*This figure is given in my finest ISP help-desk fashion, in reality, as DaveNewt says 24 hours is usually enough for propagation, but it can be up to 48 hours (72 is definitely past the outside edge so it's safe to say all issues due to DNS will be done by then).

DSN propagation

(A load of bollocks actually as it's really down to DNS caches being cleared, but everyone seems to accept "DNS propagation" as the reason)

Mine aint working at home goes to tht daddy site.. but works fine at work

Same here.

I haven't been able to get on here at home for over 24 hours now. Seems to be working perfectly normal at work.

Would it not be worth putting an official announcement out on Facebook or something to let people know what's happening?

All i'm seeing on Facebook is people being fucked off in their status updates as they can't get on here and haven't got a clue what's going on.

I've only seen about 2 people even mention it on Facebook...which says something in itself!

Anyway, I think they have posted something in the Facebook group in reply to people who asked, haven't they?

We obviously have different friends on there.

Yeah, they replied to my comment, but not everyone has the common sense to find the group and post in there.

so why dont they just do a cmd prompt then "ipconfig flushcache"? or is it different for a server/ website?

dsi ip address >> [84.45.90.221] <<

ip address that ping request comes up with >>> {68.178.232.100) ?

its wierd as im on my sisters pc at mo at her house as i need to check mails, she can access the site no problem, i live literally a 5 min walk away and cant get it at mine...

And the DNS servers that they use and so on all the way back down the tree to DSI's ISP nameserver.

server hosting peeps

As Iain and Stuball said, it's nothing to do with them and entirely out of their control. It's down to your own ISP, and may even vary withinISPs depending where you are.
