Dear DSI!

As a number of you have already seen via the guardian article, we have recently been taken over by development hell, who run magazines 'The Word' and 'Mixmag'.

We have been working really hard to get this deal signed since last October. Now the deal is finally done, we can concentrate on the site relaunch that we promised you in January!

We are back in the office, which feels GREAT after 5 months working from home (and going slightly insane). The new office is in Angel, London and we have been setting up today / yesterday, so please bare with us if you are trying to phone the office, as the phone system is playing up a little. Best way to contact us all at the moment is email.

We are REALLY excited about this deal, and are really looking forward to the synergy that is created by having DSI, the Word and Mixmag all in the same offices.

Lots of people are saying that "everyone's on facebook".

I'm not. It's against my religion as a lazy person. DSI gives me pretty much everything I need as far as clubbing/social-networking/whatever-you-want to-call-it.
As someone else mentioned earlier - for me it would just be the same collection of "buddies/friends" in two different places.
And as far as I'm concerned if you have facebook it's too easy for randoms from your past to find you. My past randoms are IN the past for a reason.

I have been a member of D.S.I for three years and counting, now… I LOVE IT!-It’s legendary!!! One of my previous office jobs, they had me work on my own to generate sales - I sat there basically getting paid to go on D.S.I all day, every day!- It was Greaaaaat…;)

I share the same views as mentioned above and fucking HATE Face Book. It has got to the point now where I am getting increasingly fucked off with people (fellow friends on D.S.I) ‘tagging’ me in photo’s. I only use it to link up pieces of work that I have created on D.S.I lol.

I don’t like the way people seem to slowly be adding albums to Face Book- and forgetting about D.S.I, its an individuals choice but for fucks sake, and the notifications good god - if I’m asked to pass one more thing on or I’m: ‘fucked in the head’…..What a load of shit.

Any how, long live D.S.I here’s to: ANOTHER LEGENDARY DAY !;)

There are too many faceAche Lovers on DSI. DSI is mainly for Topics related to Clubbing & Ravin' etc. and the other site is for anyone who likes to do the most basic tasks by taking the longer route.

But there are a lot of mates on FaceAche and sometimes trying to convince them to use DSI for Music / Clubbing / Raving related topics is near enough impossible.

FaceAche aparently get some of their revenue by the amount of time each user spend on that site, hence it is made to be slow to make sure their users spend wasted time on it.

You live in cloud cuckoo land. I've never heard anybody talk as much shit as you do Rom.

Thing that annoys me is there way to many people i know on dsi that use facebook and are forgetting about dsi, fair enough i say use facebook for talking to people who aint into clubbing and have no interest in it, but clubbers talking to fellow clubbers about clubbing / adding events / pictures stop useing facebook book for it for like 90% of your time online, it should be the other way around i reckon online time wise, on dsi 90% of your online time.
