na thats just stating that employers have to supply staff with hearing protection when music is at a certain level. just glanced through it but thats the impression i get.

The little bars would be ok at 80db but any club over 500 capacity would sound shite!!!!!!!!

Ive had this problem before. In a pub up north. They tried it bout 10 months ago coz they had a ex-employee try to sue for hearing loss. They tried earplugs....and couldnt hear the order over the bar so they had to drop the volume instaid. I recon most places are going to have that problem.

Mark, your gonna be screwed coz if they go for the earplug idea even you have to wear them! Try monitoring with that fuckin problem!!!!

Im sure Fee ad a problem wid his ears a while back & he ad 2 wear ear plugs wen he went clubbin & stuff. They were fancy 1s that meant he cud still hear but the sound wasnt as damagin or summet. Must av filtered it or summet.

Aye, you can get fancy ones for £30 (£100 for specially fitted ones) that attenuate the sound. Make it quieter, but still crystal clear. Big name DJ's wear 'em.
