Help... Need to change my 'group' to brand [to raise events]

I've just created the following group.

[Error in dsi:object tag]

When I raised an event, I couldn't add my new group as the brand. I think this has happened before, but can't remember why this was happening.

Surely the group should be automatically added to the brand database....
