Leaving groups that your a moderator for...

Hi guys, can anyone help here, I'm getting bundled with loads of stuff in my inbox from old groups that I'm a moderator for, is there any way to remove your membership without waiting for another moderator to remove you?

Yes. Just leave the group.

Thanks for your reply dude, forgive me for probably being thick but I can't find the link to remove myself from the group...

I know that normally I would click the 'Leave Group' button at the top of the page but I can't see it for the groups I'm a moerator on...?

I see what you mean. I just looked at a group I am a moderator of and can't find a 'leave group' option.

How about trying to de-mod yourself from the group and then try leaving?

pretty much correct, if you own it, then make someone else owner, and de-mod, and u-own yourself from it

Thanks for your help here guys but that's not working either, for example one group has three owners, the other two have full rights to the group and all mine are greyed out...

It's no biggie, I'll just get in touch with one of them and ask to be removed
