England squad v Brazil
Nice, one a personal note, to see Warnock back in. Especially seeing as Wayne Bridge was singled out for being shite on MOTD on Saturday. Cahill was dump on Saturday, very over rated. I can't speak for Huddlestone and Jenas though. Spurs fans, enlighten me.

England squad: Foster (Manchester United), Green (West Ham), Hart (Birmingham City - loan); Bridge, Lescott (both Manchester City), Brown (Manchester United), Cahill (Bolton), Johnson (Liverpool), Terry (Chelsea), Upson (West Ham), Warnock (Aston Villa); Barry, Wright-Phillips (both Manchester City), Beckham* (Los Angeles Galaxy), Carrick (Manchester United), Huddlestone, Jenas (both Tottenham), Lampard (Chelsea), Milner, Young (both Aston Villa); Bent (Sunderland), Crouch, Defoe (both Tottenham), Rooney (Manchester United).

We're gonna get turned over by Brazil looking at that squad.

pointless game that shouldnt even be taking place.

will be looking for the united players to pick up "mystery injuries" a couple of days before the game and withdraw to stay at home.

I just hope we follow suit and keep Johnson at Melwood

Great to see Bent in there, he's one of the top English strikers at the moment and gets overlooked because Capello fancies Heskey.
Agbonlahor is one Villan boy who's missing though, he's got the pace which could be needed to speed through the Brazilian side.

Don't jump to conclusions. Brazil were 2 nil now at halftime during the final of the Confederates Cup against USA and only managed to pull their finger out when USA started slacking.
We've got one of the best teams in the world we just need to focus to get our result.

Funny hearing this noise from Liverpool fans. Do you ever care about England?

Cant speak for Jenas, hes the enigma that every manager loves and no fan can understand why.

Huddlestone is adaptable, can play defence or midfield, has a great eye for a pass and shot. Never going to be an England starter but thats what Friendlies before a big cup tournament are about, no?

I was just making the point that we don't really need the result. Personally I do care a great deal about England, but lots of fans don't anymore. Not just Liverpool fans.

Good player, and good back up for Barry.

Do we think Barry will keep his place in the first choice 11 once Joey Cole is back in the fold?

Will Capello dare to drop Lamps or Gerrard?

I think you'll find the people who dont care are those whose teams compete in the champions league..................on the whole

Personally I care as much about England as I do Spurs.

Maybe if it was a domestic friendly that would be the right attitude, we'll be playing an amazing side and this is a chance to prove what we've got. I'm actually quite shocked about your negativity.

Maybe if Fabio played five in the mid Barry would stay on, and depends who we play, he's more of a CDM in my opinion. Who cares anyway? He's a Judus Tosspot.

I'm not being negative. We don't need a result, that's a fact. I'm looking forward to this game, and I hope we win, but I'm not going to be too bothered if we don't - it's unimportant in the grand scheme of things.

It's not pointless at all, It gives Capello a chance to try out different players together in a competitive situation ahead of a fast approaching World Cup which I and many others would very much like England to win. Time is of the essence and if that means the odd friendly during a week where every top team is missing players on international duty then so be it.
