indeed, i still got i think 130 hrs out of it (all bobbleheads etc).

I didn't bother looking for all the bobbleheads. That would of just pissed me off.

I have, however, got all achievements for Call of Duty 4. Yay!

How did i miss this game its fucking awsome finally got round to renting it had it from sat and already clocked up 24 hours of gameplay truely addictive only game that held my attention in a long long time

After continuously playing it till the wee hours since the day of release I've finally decided to put it down and move on yesterday. Best game I've played in years. ~100ingame hours and 920gpoints clocked :)

btw i missed this at the time but i found a news article about Fallout 3 in an old copy of Private Eye at the wkend.



this image is a piece of concept art for Fallout 3 that Bethesda released ages ago as promotional material. someone saw it on a web forum, mistook it for terrorist propaganda and it ended up on the Daily Mail website with the description "Al-Qaeda's terrifying vision of a devastated America in the wake of a nuclear attack." haha!

Ive been playing Fallout 2 because my mate still aint given my copy of 3 back to me after i lent it to him over a month ago (a schoolboy error if there ever was one!).

Damn Fallout 2's hard! No way as forgiving as 3! have to say the combat lacks excitement but apart from that its much the same as 3! oh and of course the graphics are a little better in 3!

I did play fallout 2 years ago but quickly became bored of waiting for all the 10 enemys on screen to take their turn before i could stab em up with a spear a couple of times before waiting another 10 turns to do the same and realizing that I cant win and have to take 8 steps per turn to try and run away!! hence to say 9/10 i fail with the escape attempt! If only I could take the fuckers on in fp and with vats! then they would pay!

Funny thing is i met that tree dude! bob is it? or harold or something!? Hes only got a little tree on his head in 2 and is a ghoul! He looks a bit worse for wear in 3!! I wonder who else i will meet??

Fallout 3.....please come home :(

Fallout 3 has long gone for me. I doubt I'll play it again until more downloadable content is available.

Fallout3 can be a very easy game if you distribute your skill points right or very hard if you do otherwise. I think the fact that the only sensible weapons in the game are Small Guns (because of abundance of ammo for them) and Energy Guns (sheer power of Plasma Weapons) really limits its replayability. If you pump points into Small Guns early in the game and make sure you have enough ActionPoints for 3 shots/turn with you chosen weapon you will be shooting the crap out of everything with minimal health loss. I finished the game with shedloads of healthitems and even a visit to the Deathclaw infested Old Olney was a cakewalk. I was thinkign about playing the game again with a character focused on Big Guns but becuase of limited ammo for them I don't it would work.
