Eh up. Where's the thread for this then? Just been reading the preview on GAME and wondered what the early reviews say?

yeah, i love the fact there's an individual forum for every single game. great for asking specific questions or chatting about whatever game you're playing.

GameFAQS was the inspiration for changing the group home page to having a quick link to the big games so that multiple threads wern't all created about the same game.

I think it's working really well as you can also tell how popular a game is by the amount of pages.

Only just seen this. BTW your Killzone 2 image is linking to Fable II and KZ2 isn't out until Feb 09.

Do you think you could possibly manage a few more PS3 links? Where is Resistance 2? Its like one of the biggest PS3 games of the year!

yeah, definitely gives a little order from the chaos. i do have issues with the cover art pics though cos i often check DSI on my mobile. even with images turned off i still get image placeholders and have to page down 36 times to get to the thread index! :6

or how much threadwankage there is! ;)

or not.

:P it does raise the issue though of how long you keep the links up there. perhaps basic text links for older ones?

lol do you think I get anything ?

Well apart from personal satisfaction of course.

We dont get any abuse in this group (apart from console wars) so it would be handy to have a mod for once that can actually update the group page.

Its always worth a shot! ;)

I'd like to, but my nice small relaxed company has just been bought by one of the biggest software companies in the world so I dont think I'll be on the internet much in the day from Dec 1st.

I can do basic HTML though and know all the latest news, although as you know I don't play anything but FPS's unless its really something special.

If anyone else has more time on their hands and likes a broader scope of games then it may be better otherwise I'm game!

looking better now, cheers Dave!

Think it was on the credits of a TV prgram I watched recently but I saw a 'J Roach'.

heh. on a similar note, i'm always tickled to see a train full of K Line containers.

Completed the main story line today. The end was cool, but too easy.

Now i have a shit load of exploring to do.

Or I could swap it for guitar hero world tour...

Hmmm!

Are you being serious. It's your characters birthday. Pay attention.

perhaps in the interest of equality you could alternate the multiplatform releases, so they don't all show as 360 games ;)

Personal robot butler.

with an arm fitted with a big serrated circular saw. and he offers you a haircut. the future is indeed a scary place!

party hats?

i found a party hat in the main game yesterday and some silk pyjamas. quite a stylish combo.

found all sorts of cool and interesting stuff exploring. there's an old teddy bear factory so i now have a pile of 20 teddies in my shack. good to have a hobby.

i guess the idea is that you adjust the diff to suit you. Oblivion actually had a slider to set the diff didn't it?

i think as you level up the baddies level up too, so it's probably easier to do the main story earlier.

i've just been exploring and doing side quests for 20+ hrs and barely touched the sides. should last ages.

noticed a few little improvements over Oblivion, like you get a keyring instead of having several dozen keys clogging your inventory. also when you loot a dead bad guy you automatically find their dropped weapon when you search the body; in Oblivion i spent ages searching for glass axes when they slid down a long hill into tall grass. also there's no grass in Fallout. :)
