Need help on Guitar Hero purchase
Hi guys, I need a bit of help on a GH purchase for my nephew. I'm getting him the Xbox360 and GH5 since he played the earlier editions on his PS2 to death and wants to upgrade now. Gamestation are now doing a sale on GH/Rockband instruments and games this week and I just want to know if

RockBand Guitar is compatible with GH and vice versa?

These two look like a pretty sweet deal, don't they?
new RB guitar for £20 gamestation.co.uk
new GH5 game for £22 gamestation.co.uk
and a refurb Xbox360 for £109 gamestation.co.uk

that's £150 for a nearly new console and new copy of GH5 with RB guitar

-------------

By the way the full Rock Band instrument set is for £60 !! gamestation.co.uk

Yeah the rock band guitar is compatible and vice versa but the RB guitar is SHIT! in comparison the the GH one.
GH5 great game but I much prefer RB2, more songs and better downloads.

If you're going the second hand route, it's always worth checking with Cex, if they have a shop near you.

There's one in Camden Town as well where I work. I used to live in Bromley, great area. Thinking about buying a flat somewhere there in the near future :)
