Elektrik Munkey (Previously briefly called Electric Monkey) came about because 2 people, Project Monkey Boy and DJ Fullard, were fed up with the lack of regular Techno and House nights in Birmingham and welll.... you can never have enough! So instead of moaning about it, we thought we'd join the other nights and put on our own! Elektrik Munkey willl be based at OC's in Digbeth on the High Street (next door to the Sanctuary) and after the launch night in October 2006 it will hopefully be on the first saturday of every month from March 2007. As for the music... the Techno room will be funky, hard, acid, tribal as long as it sounds good! same with the house room goin from dirty to electro. As long as the crowd love it and we love it, it'll be played! And if your a Techno or a House DJ get in touch, were always looking for new DJ's. We want to try our best to keep the cost as low as possible wiv maximum amount of fun and no attitude all night long!
