Hardstyle U.K began in January 2006 and was formally set up by Bill Murray from Belfast also with the help of Jamie (Capone 13) who was Admin for the site
When HS-UK began its main aim was to promote up and coming DJ's and Producers from the u.k and abroad.
It was also to be used as somewere members could get information about whats happening in the hardstyle scene both here and abroad.
Since it began in 2006 HS-UK has held its first event at frequency which is one of the biggest names in north wales for hardstyle,and the night was a really succesfull.
Also our DJ's have gone on to represent HS-UK at events such as Binary and know-fear in manchester and also fixation in nottingham.
The original team comprised of bill murray,capone 13,Andrew aka mc-a-ruption,dj yoz,hardcheck,dj wired and inztructor.
Well as of this year a lot of big changes have happend at HS-UK,we welcomed on board a new member to the team Abodeabided who was like a breathe of fresh air around the place.
He started doing lots of work for the site/forum and had some really great ideas on how to push HS-uk foward in 2008.
We found out that billy the hs-uk owner had dissapered no one off the team could contact him and the server which hs-uk was on was due to run out on the 11th 0f january.
So the decicision was taken by abodeabided to move hs-uk to a new server and home so that all the work that had been put in by all the members and staff since it began wasnt lost forever.
Along with the server change and moving to a new home comes a name change to the site/forum and also a change in personal to the team running it.
So that is were Extreme Hardstyle is born,we will still continue in the support of upcoming dj'producer talent in the uk but with dropping the u.k part from the name we will also appeal to a more international audiance which can only benifit us in the long run.
We will also be opening a online store and record label and in 2008 we will be having our own nights at various clubs around the u.k.
We would like to say thank you to all the dj's/producers/promoters and of course all our members who have supported hs-uk since it began.
And look foward to seeing contnue that support for extreme hardstyle in the future.
