FOREVER HARDCORE XMAS PARTY // FRIDAY 12TH DEC 2008 *** VENUE CHANGE ***
Due to circumstances beyond our control our Xmas Party to be held on Friday 12th December will no longer be held at The Music Café on Little Holme Street, Braunstone Gate.
We booked this venue in September this year for our Xmas Party and was assured by the venue that there were no problems and an all night licence would be granted by the council before the end of November.
I then receive a letter from the council informing me that the venue have already used their yearly allowance of all-night licences and that the council would not be granting ours.
Having spoken to the Music Café they have tried to get round this with the council but have had no joy. We are extremely annoyed as by this time we already have flyers printed and internet promotion well underway.
The Music Café have accepted full responsibility for this and have apologised profusely.
After searching the city we have managed to secure a new club for the event. The venue is the EMPERIA, CHURCHGATE, LEICESTER.
This massive 1,000 capacity venue will be totally transformed with banners, backdrops, plus our superb 3 multi-coloured lasers and lighting show, as well as the usual UV cannons, strobes and strawberry smoke.
In addition, having visited EMPERIA previously, some of you may have reservations about the in-house sound system used their… Well, we are bringing in Hyperbolic's banging 18k sound system so it will be loud and crystal clear!!!
So in summary we are still holding the Christmas party at The EMPERIA on Churchgate in Leicester…
