HOUSE-TRAINED LABEL LAUNCH NIGHT WITH DJ DISCIPLE & AUDIOWHORES - THE ISLAND FEBRUARY 16TH!

DJ DISCIPLE (CATCH 22 RECORDINGS, NYC)
AUDIOWHORES (MN2S)
RAYMUNDO RODRIGUEZ
STEVE PROCTOR (SHOOM / BETTER DAYS)
THE LAYABOUTS (ILL FRICTION)
PHIL LORAINE & STU HALL (HOUSE-TRAINED)

It’s the small club night with the big personality, at one of the hottest venues in London town. House-Trained returns to the capital with an almighty line-up to take 2008 by the seat of its newborn pants and give it a damn good seeing to!

Conceived in 2004 and bought up on a shoe-string budget yet hosting some of dance music’s most respected DJs – Terry Farley, Mylo, Bill Brewster to name but a few – the label now has the comfortable backing of major player Universal Music.

Giving the boys room to breathe, grow and develop a home-grown sound that smacks of pedigree, this is a rare opportunity for a label to put the emphasis on the music rather than immediate unit sales – ain’t that a refreshing change ;)

To kick things off, industry bosses have given the go-ahead for a stunning label launch party at The Island on Saturday February 16th. New York City’s finest, DJ Disciple headlines along with the Audiowhores and Raymundo Rodriguez. Acid house wizard Steve Proctor, The Layabouts and Phil Loraine and Stu Hall add even more depth and diversity making it without doubt one hell of a major line-up.

Tickets for the night should move fast so we’re recommending people buy in advance from www.ticketweb.co.uk for just £12. Tickets are available on the door for £15 but these will be limited so if you want to buy them on the night make sure you’re there early when the venue opens at 11pm.

House-Trained – no shit on the dance floor ;)

I know it's a wicked little label too, the guys that run it are so lovely and if this one goes well then hopefully they'll be back for more with some excellent guests. They were going to get Marshall Jefferson but he wasn't in the UK for the date and with flights and accommodation it was just too expensive, hopefully next time though ;) But DJ Disciple is a total legend >;)
