Once upon a time....
Some nutcase posted in this group:

I have a dream that one day both jam and cheese lovers will rise up and show the true meaning of the creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that jams and cheeses are created equal." I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a table of jam and cheese sandwiches. I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a dessert state, sweltering with the heat of freshly baked apple pies, will be transformed into an oasis of cheese and jam. I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by their choice between cheese and jam. I have a dream today.

Well that dream is coming true!

The defenders of the curd, a.k.a. Mooch!n will be getting down and dirty as only they know how with us Jam lovers.

"When is this momentous event?", do I hear you cry?

Why 'tis within a month! In a mere three-and-a-bit weeks, those giants of gorgonzola, the Gods of gruyere, the emissaries of emmental, the Moochers of Mooch!n, will be hitting Brixton in support of the genius of Jamm, Jnr J.

Jnr and the Moochers will of course be bringing you the very finest in music along with some very special guests. Sebastien Legier has been announced by Jnr's side, while those teasing little tykes at Mooch!n are taunting us with tales of a mystery guest that will be appearing from Seattle. And don't ever forget the other residents, SNeal and Francisco, legends in their own right who will doubtless be showing us how to rip up a dancefloor too.

So, how do you get to participate in this veritable extravaganza of rare treats? Click here to find the answer...

this sounds like a cynical plug for an event within a group on jam.

all roads lead to promotion it would seem.

This does indeed sound like delicious combination. Being a bit of a cheese coniseur (well I'm Dutch so...) and also a Jammy dodger per se... well I can confirm that sweet and savoury are a beautiful dance of love when they hit your.

Cheese and jam on toast rocks. Moochin and Jamm deserves a toast too, well done lads..... wish I could be there but money is thight, so will stick to finding some cheese and jam recipies for now.

or roll up a slice of cheese (perhaps provolone) with a dab of jam. or maybe top slices of mozzarella with jam. the possibilities are endless.

(personally i like toasted bagel with cream cheese and jam. yum!)

Even good old cheddar rules, try it!
Also classics like brie and cranberry. Ok not strictly jam that, but it wants to be.
