I have only just descovered this group! so hello to everyone!
I have loved jam for a very long time it has always been a part of my life ever sinse i can remember! i would just like to do a tribute to eveyones jam heros out there.... everyone may not have one, due to the lack of media aknowledge ment of the luvly jam preserves. however i do and here he is....

Eddie Izzard... this man is legend... in every show i have seen him in he always mentions jam! we need more people like this who can keep the love of jam alive!

I would also like to give a mention to the charming edmund from channel 4's beauty and the geek... i was watchin this last week and not only did he proclaim his love for jam, but he also let us in on his own secret theory of the BEST way to eat a jam sandwhich... it was absolutly amazin! the depths that this man has gone to with his theories on jam is unbelievable, and the best thing is he eats one everysingle day and has done sinse he was little! go on my son!!

yep... but your forgettin the nice lil lick of the jam, mixed with the sip of milk on the second to last bite "to get a strawberries an cream flavour goin on in my mouth" lol

Video players are a fantastic thing - although something of the past I had thought!! Keep VHS alive!!!!!!! hehheheheheheheheheheh

i couldnt actually believe wot the poor boy was sayin! i was tryin to imagin his theories on other things like this is how you get out of bed... well first i lay on my side for a bit, then on my back, then i sit up slowly makin sure my back is straight i then turn 90degres to the right an place my toes on the floor... etc etc
im guna have to try an eat a jam sandwich like that someday though!

well Daddio now that im allergic to cheese i have to find something to replace it =)

I have to propose John Vernon Lord who wrote the kids book 'The Giant Jam Sandwich', one it was a rocking kids book and two it had my salivating at the thought of all that Jam. I also take my hat off to the inventors of white bread and butter without which Jam would not be the same.

That is so true Frank!

It does remind me of an old saying, "It's as good as slice bread!"
Perhaps the person who made up this particular saying was indeed referring to Jam?
It's a possibility!
