Did you all hear the news that Jam is no longer the favourite sweet tasting spread of the nation. Honey is creeping up fast and jam sales are declining. We will have to do something to sort this out. I was once spiked with Speed Jam maybe this could be the way to sort things out.

I have to confess, I do like honey. But jam wins hands down though. You can't lick honey off the sides of your lips like you can with jam.

That's a very good point! Honey is nice....however, can be too sticky! Jam, has more variety of flavours and is more consistent.

Ok what is scary is that my housemate Dave told me about the jam decline in the spread ranks! I must say in defence of honey that it tastes much better mixed in with herbal teas than jam does ... but jam still rocks on toast, crumpets, sandwiches, croissants and cakes in general :o)

Agreed Kirsty! The Jam/herbal tea thingy doesn't work without pulling an awkward squirming face at the same time, LOL!

And, I loooove my herbal teas (especially peppermint).
