The intetntion was to not get a stupidly insanely well created site to give the impression I was a web designer... just something to hold imges... done at a good price for what it will hopefully accomplish!

Achieved. However the logo looks like it would feel at home in a BBC2 documentary filmed in the 80s. Very contemporary and stylish regardless of whether or not it was intentionally designed to portray this or not.

I'd personally rewrite the main page in the 3rd person

eg:

"Hello and welcome to the James Finch photography website.
James has become a seasoned club photographer, more unique in his style he finds as he goes for the music as well as the photography. He has always felt a photographer really loving the environment they are in can add even more to the photos they take."

I'm also potentially looking for someone to take photos of my studio for my website when I rejig things a bit (probably in about 2-3 months depending on how long various other projects take to complete)
