Festive Schedule announced!
As we say a sad goodbye to summer (hang on did we have a summer, must of missed that bit?...anyway!) we are pleased to announce that Mark will be performing at four different events over the xmas & new year period! Kicking off with special Christmas Eve set for Colours at the Fridge in Brixton, it's then fast forward to New Years Eve for a double header beginning with a live set at SS1 Nightclub in Southend for Concept followed by a sprint up the motorway for a DJ set at the Emporium in Coalville for Passion vs Storm! Then on new years day, it's back down to London for Mark's debut appearance and London favorite Zoology! Set times coming soon!
K90 returns from monster Dutch Festival Defqon 1 in Australia!
On his return from a second visit to Australia in 2009, Mark had nothing but praise for an event he's described as "surely one of the biggest dance music events to ever hit Australia!" we caught up with a jet lagged Mark to get the lowdown on all things 'down under dutch'! "Well, what can I say? Q Dance completely nailed it and for a first attempt at pulling a big crowd outside of your natural country, that's a massive achievement! He continues. "15,000 crazy aussie's dancing all day in post 30 degree tepretures...it had to be seen to be believed! Q Dance put on amazing show, the production was awe inspiring and something I was really honored to be part of!"
K90's alter ego gets unleashed!
After featuring as remix artist on K90's last two releases - Sleepwalking and Dirty Games, label boss Mark Doggett finally unleashes his Sparky Dog alias for a long awaited debut stand alone release. Dog Day Afternoon captures perfectly the vibe of a long hot summer with it's electro fueled bassline, catchy percussion and infectious melody! Think of sunset cocktails at cafe Mambo and you're there. You will NOT be able to get this tune out of your head!!!
Sparky Dog - Dog Day Afternoon DJ Magazine Review!
Sparky Dog is the alter ego of K90 for his more down tempo productions, as showcased here in 'Dog Day Afternoon'. Be sure to check out his 'Bleeps & Whistles' mix for a tougher electro edged tech-trance vibe.
