Far from reclusive the Sluts have supported the Prodigy and the Streets on their recent tours, rocking capacity crowds alongside acts like the Audio Bullies and selling thousands of pairs of their official Backstage Sluts knickers wherever they went. Their unofficial remakes of Rage Against the Machine, the Velvet Underground and New Order are all about to drop, meaning they’ll be all over the shadier, more under-the-counter corners of the nations record shops.
Musically, they describe themselves as “Moshpit breakbeat”. Taking a classic track and rather than just fuse an acappella onto another track, they strip it down, find the hook and remix it.
