smash	WOOP WOOP ! First and foremost thank you to every single person that made it to Missing on Friday for our IndepenDance Rave. It was the best night so far and judging by the positive comments that are being posted will be the start of something amazing! Unfortunately Brisk was unable to make it due to the idiots over at the highways agency closing down numerous roads and lanes on the motorways but not actually doing anything but thanks to Clipper for filling that void with an amazing set. Recon made it after various rumours saying that he wasn’t coming (I think someone was telling fibs!) and he blew the roof off with an awesome set that had the main room bouncing from start to finish! Big respect goes out to Smash for smashing (sorry!!) room 2, Sectioned made an already good night into an amazing one with a selection of local legends and an international legend Noizefu*ker. Crazy 2nr and 3Dom were just some of the DJ's that shook the foundations of the Music Box and have guaranteed that Hard style, Gabba & techno have pretty much cemented their future in room 2. Thanks goes out to the UKScene crew who contributed to the night with there selection of B2B Dj's, Jervis & Meat were particularly impressive and the energy shown by the crowd was given straight back to them by these 2 who were, and you can quote me on this "going off their nuts behind the decks" which was an excellent sight ! As an MC myself I think its fait to say that so far Missing hasn’t had a reputation for overly crowd pleasing Mic Controllers, however this changed on a night where the MCs stepped up to the plate. Gav B, Hypavibe, CYX and Arnie all took to the stage and duly worked the masses non stop till 6am a very special thank you goes out to Friction who made a special guest appearance and will deffo be on the bill for future Missing Party's. Ok so the next event is when? I hear you ask. Well we are having a month off for summer holidays and will be returning in September for those of you who have never experienced Missing in Manchester, where have you been? We're the only monthly Hardcore all-nighter in the north west! All for the small price of £10 if you get those tickets in advance AND we don’t have a dress code, come to party in what ever you want! Every month, at least one up and coming DJ & MC will be given a chance to shine. Every 4 months, the best DJ & MC over the last 3 months, will be rewarded with a PRIME TIME slot, giving them true chance to impress you the ravers.
