What is Need A Lift Mate??

This group has been setup by me for clubbers on their way to events nationwide or worldwide that either have spare seats in the cars/cabs/minibuses/buses/aircraft or boats. Or are looking for travel options. Any other unrelated threads may be deleted depending on the content or nature.

If you find yourself with a spare seat or are unable to fill your transport mode with enough people, this is the perfect way to ask around on DSI if anyone wants to join your party. All you need to do is put the event & venue in the subject header along with the date...then type the finer details of the journey including the costing and route, in the comment box. ADD YOUR BUDS PLEASE.

Please note...This group, Need A Lift Mate?, will not be held responsible for any loss(es) or damage to persons or property howsoever caused. It's setup purely to assist with clubbers getting to and from events that may otherwise be stuck for transport. If accepting a lift, please ensure you tell someone what your doing and how your getting to your event and where your going and more importantly, who your making plans to travel with. You are bound by agreement within this group once agreed with the other person and have the responsibility of maintaining your agreement. We will not be held accountable for broken agreement(s).

Your personal safety is of paramount importance, you are responsible for your own safety. Public Carriage Vehicles or Vessels have the responsibilty of your safety whilst in transit, unless otherwise stated with individual operators, ensure that operators have insurance & public liability, before travelling. Company's with such cover will gladly offer you all the relavent information on demand.

Please ensure that you use licensed and insured minicab or minibus and bus firms/operators and keep yourself and others nice and safe. Person(s) that break agreement will be booted from the group unless each party PM contact the moderator(s) and offer genuine reason for any broken arrangement. Any more than 2 occassions in a 12 month period is an instant booting from the group. Terms & Conditions and Conditions of Carriage may apply & insurance is not offered by this group. From time to time this groups rules may be altered or updated without notice to its members, although any ammendment(s) temporary or permanent would normally be announced

Interview with MC Spenno
