RIPSNORTER NYE
Bit cheeky putting this on Nick's group but he's my favourite producer and i'll be belting out his tunes in the main room, so there!
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

RIPSNORTER present the greatest hard dance producer/DJ of all time BK, playing his Ripper debut at The Blue Mountain Club this New Year's Eve!

BK’s latest ‘Under The Influence’ series of collaberative EPs marks a new harder, more electro- influenced direction (sometimes known as ‘nu-rave’ or ‘new age rave’) and one that has been rockin’ dancefloors all over the world this year - Ben has been wanting the freedom to play a harder, underground, techno-tinged style (impossible at the larger anthem-hungry commercial hard dance events) and The Rippers very happy to give him the opportunity this New Year’s Eve.

Plus belting out the big techno-trance-NRG tunes of the year will be Dave Randall, DJ Pod, Solid Si, Greg Zogg and BS2; and dirty basslines in the Breaksnorter Room with Schmidt LIVE, Nick the Kid, DJ Hippy, Spectre, Arthur Tabb - and original Rippers DJ Pod & Dan Pearce funkin' it up together.

Ripsnorter Room: trance, techno & nu-age-rave
BK
Dave Randall (Dance Valley / ‘Snorter)
DJ Pod (‘Snorter)
Greg Zogg (‘Snorter / Planet Zogg)
BS2 (‘Snorter)
Solid Si (S.W. free party hero!)

Breaksnorter Room: futuristic breaks & filthy electro
Schmidt LIVE (Rocstar Recordings)
Nick The Kid (Drizzly Records / Hindsight)
Spectre (Random Audio Records)
Dan Pearce vs DJ Pod (the Original Rippers B2B)
DJ Hippy (Archangel Breaks)
Arthur Tabb (Planet Zogg)

This is our last party until May next year! Expect top quality production from the Ripsnorter Crew; Stunning tailor-made Decadent Decore, amazing laser/lightshow, inflatables, beefed up P.A. (upstairs and down) and a covered, decorated outdoor terrace with a section dedicated to fire performance.
We’ll have ravers headshop Haggler’s Corner for your rave toys, legal psychedelics and herbals, free face painting & body art, free fruit & ice pops, and friendly faces on the door to welcome you…and Kamikazee and The Trance-L8rs (www.myspace.com/trancel8rs) will be doing their costumed Shamanic dance, cleansing, crystal gridding and fire performance.

Rowland & Wright - Laws Of Progress

Original one side, Nick Sentience Remix the other. And now he has done a 2007 remix which is even better. But his 1st remix is well worth having.

Checked out Laws of Progress - passed it up at the time cos im not into the cheesy riff. Sounds a bit too much like a Phil Reynolds track. Interested in hearing the new version though. Is it out yet?

Nah, still a Nick only track atm. Though, the riff is the same, so I suspect youd not like it now either, it just has more psy tinged sounding synths this time around.

I love it - but then I love that Phil Reynolds sound.

Id like to hear him do more of the electro-influenced stuff too. Like the Under the Influence EPs.
