what do you think of it? who are good tech-trance djs/producers? it's quickly becoming a favourite genre of mine and just wanted other people's opinions :)

was it escape in the park? or sensation white?

i cant remember now but i felt like killing you when you identified every single tune, and genre within the first 2 seconds of it coming on

The best tech trance tune in my opinion is Aalto - 5 and i know you dont class that as tech Alex but i do also Alex Kunnari - Lifter. I like tech trance if its done properley Wippenburg stuff is awful its so basic and boring

if i knew hardly anything about catorgorizing music befor, i know even less now! you lot have confused the fuck out of me! how many sub-genres do you need!!!!!!

as for the tech trance issue! i like techno and i like trance. i also like tech-trance if its actually trancey! you cant beat a dirty riff in a trance track BUT (and note how big the but is) if i go to a trance night and i hear tech without the trance i get pissed off! if i wanted just tech i wouldnt go to a trance night would i!!!

Aalto - 5 is pretty techy mate, wicked tune anyway, so is lifter, but disagree on the wippenberg bit, his basslines make me go nuts

disagree on the wippenberg bit, his basslines make me go nuts

i'll agree with you on that about 50% of the time, some of his stuff is pretty dull but some is spot on, especially his remix of Super8 & Tab - Need to Feel, which - as you're on the "which tunes are ripping off other peoples tunes" tip - has been totally ripped off by PVD in his Vandit club mix of Let Go (which still sounds fookin awesome in its own right like)

especially his remix of Super8 & Tab - Need to Feel,

Its fucking gash that tune disgrace to anjunabeats but i dont really like the original theres just no thought put into it bland as fuck and well disappointed with super8 for that.
