does any body else think clubbing has become too cool?
i've come to the decision that clubbing...and clubbers are far too cool now. it's all about listening to the "right" music and dressing a certain way. it's made clubbing serious and boring. what happened to wearing proper cyber?

and not giving a fuck? and what was life like BEFORE KETAMINE?! what happened to being bouncy and silly and having fun in a club?

same as people who dress in cyber do so to distinguish themselves from the drunk clubbing boozeboys, pick up hustlers, drug dealers etc.

thats not why i dress in cyber i wear it because i like it. i like the bright colours and the feeling that yeah i made the tutu im wearing and it looks good (in my opinion)!

i also know some very boozy cybers (me and hannah on many ocassiosn), some cybers who are massive 'pick up hustlers' and plenty of cyber drug dealers lol!

i its based (sometimes) entirely on whether you fit the look they want for their club or not!

yeah that's true - often on whether you look cool or not and very often on how much money it looks like you've got to spend. i even knew a barman once who'd only serve women in one such club. his boss even loved it :¬/

And not everyone has the skill or ability to make their own.

Does that mean they shouldn't go?

Or should they go but wear the same things as they would do at the pub?

Or should they buy some cyber instead?

i dont think thats the point at all, but they appear to be ones that everyone is agreeing ruin cyber or at least what it originally stood for. cyber for me is about colour, fun, and GLITTER! but i have always said to my friends that i much prefer going out in an outfit i know wont be killing me by the end of the night, why should i feel like i have to wear a dress and heels which i will regret after about an hour.

i have always said to my friends who reckon they cant make their own that i would sit down and do it with them and loads make their own now :) i love seeing what everyone is going to come up with!

also there is always the option to buy of individuals who make things. daisy will do tops for like a tenner and you can guarantee there wont be a single other person out with it on.

I totally agree. I used to always cyber up when I went raving. It was fun, felt expressive, especially if I had scoured the market stalls etc to make the whole get up myself. I wear it every now and then these days. IMO, it's a great way to dress up and feel a bit sexy, without having to wear a skirt with heels or a little dress and be uncomfortable all night. Essentially it's about having a good stomp, I can do that with my fluffys and trainers on, but I can't dressed like I am going to Liquid/Envy/JumpinJacks.

Why not? I can. (Not that I'd go into Liquid/Envy/JumpinJacks without being on a commission of course!)

Why not? I can.

Because shirt and shoes is more comfortable than heels and a dress?

nope, she did just say, (cyber is) a great way to dress up and feel a bit sexy too

Of course not. I wear trainers and jeans most days, so when I go out, I don't want to wear the same. My alternative, as I refuse to stomp in heels all night, is to wear my fluffies, that way I can wear a little skirt or hot pants, and still have my trainers on underneath. This is all getting very Trinny and Suzanah.

i dont see many girls wearing high heels to raves and the ones i do see dnt seem to be dancing a lot so i guess they might be comfortable. but u can still wear dress and feel comfortable it just depends what dress u r choosing.

ive worn jeans to a rave only once in my life and never ever again. personally im a fan of lycra as when i dance i really go for it and i find those outfits more comfortable than jeans or cotton tshirts that stick to ur body . they r awful!
