i've come to the decision that clubbing...and clubbers are far too cool now. it's all about listening to the "right" music and dressing a certain way. it's made clubbing serious and boring. what happened to wearing proper cyber?

clubbing HAS changed. i'm so fucking bored now when i go out. i grew up watching human traffic, dying for the day i looked old enough to get into clubs, and now i am old enough, they're just boring. full of people 30+ moaning about how it's not like how it used to be.

i feel i've caught eveything a few years too late. like tidy weekenders. aparently they used to be amazing... personally i was just bored. the fact that police are all over the place, the music is so quiet it's silly and the arenas are empty cos everybody is in a ketamine induced coma. not to mention, people complaining that "its not like what it used to be".

and ibiza. full of funky, wanky people who all know eachother and if you don't know them, well then you're just not good enough. music is EXACTLY THE SAME as every other club/bar in the UK...oh and loads of vetrans leaving 3 months early cos "it's not like what it used to be"

i'm just hoping that things will get better in a few years..... i'm hoping that this is just the same thing that happened in 2000/2001 when garage over took everything and everyone went to Ayia Napa instead...

as i said before depends on what music your listening to , i used to be a crasher kid and a hard house head they both shit scenes now as they were done to death and people move on. well for me they are but to someone who is just starting to go out those scenes are ace and they will be enjoying it as much as i used to, my perception on something will be totally different that somebody new to it all

my opinion is that you are getting older and have stuck with the same scene for to long. you are not getting the buzz you first got . broaden your horizons and get into some different music, and you will see that clubbing is not dead. i have dj'ed in loads of places and i get the young lot coming up to me saying how they are loving it and its mainly the older lot moanin cos its not the same. course its not going to be the same, when i first started clubbing in 96 i bet the older ravers from the late 80's and early 90's were saying how there scene was dying

the happy hardcore scene now is like the trance and hardhouse scene was 10 years ago. people in cyber , popping pills . having a good time and going mental on the dance floor.

I know what you mean i still think the harder scence has retained some of its crazyness, but if you go to Electro house and Tech house nights there is a nobbery about the place full of people who i like to refer to as "chin scratchers",
