am looking for some up and coming DJ recommendations for our room 2! I'm sure we had a thread going a little while back but I can't find it so suggestions welcome!!

They very rarely have 2 turntables in room 2, and when they are, there's usually a problem with them.

Be best to check wayyy before playing, sure bri/cally would sort something out.

i think last time i seen vinyl used in room two the dj had to bring his own needles, or so i was told anyway

Quite a shame really in my opinion. Jus wanted to know if any1 bothers with 12" anymore. Quite surprising also.

There was 1 1210 there last month and I had to borrow Cally's needles for them. The phono leads were fucked on the deck though..

Unfortunately on a few occasions our stylus have been swiped from the decks during the night. As they're over £100 a pair we can't just keep leaving them on to be pinched. If anyone needs to use vinyl though let us know beforehand and we'll always sort it out. We've had to start giving stylus to each DJ that needs them before their set and have them return them at the end. That's the only way we can make sure they don't go missing. It's a shame there's a few fuckers that spoil things for everyone. We've also had a few probs with banners going missing recently. If anyone sees anyone trying to take our stylus or even banners on the night feel free to give them a kick in the head from me!

More and more nights are saying that this sort of thing is becoming more frequent!! Gone are the days of people just swipping posters as a momento they want equipment and decor!! Whats next the clubs funktion 1 rig?

Yeah it's a real shit. We're working hard trying to make the club look as nice as poss for everyone's enjoyment and then some fucker rips a banner down to take home. You have 2 choices you can either keep putting them up risking them being taken, or have to think twice about where you put them. It's a shame coz we make the club look as best as we can get it, which is for the benefit of everyone who comes to the night

Yes, that happens at a lot events, it's a pity the Low-Lifes rarely get caught, then BANNED from the Venues and Events.

I hate to imagine how many Clubbers / Ravers have had their nights ruined by having Items Stolen, Hairstyles ruined etc by people who have No Respect?

But to end it in a Positive Statement: Going to a Bionic Event and Experiencing it is Brilliant!
