Good Evening Angelz!!!

I just wanted to send out a personal thankyou to everybody that made Charlys Angelz Ibiza 2009 so special. It was our 9th year of Charlys Angelz in Ibiza, and it was fantastic to see so many female DJ's on the island and doing things the angelic way!!!!!

Although the opening party back in June in association with Ibiza bootcamp seems a million years ago now, this really was one of the best opening parties I have been involved with in all my years of Charlys Angelz in Ibiza. It was fantastic to see so many people dressing up in the UV Angel theme (please see the event photos), and obviously amazing to have Kym Ayres and Casa Mia play as our special guests on this amazing night.

This definately set the standard for the rest of the summer and we had some truly memorable nights including the Funk Delux, Contagious and Hard Dance Ibiza night with Caz Wood which was OFF the scale, the massive Charlys Angelz vs Dirty Rotten Slut party, various events with uber glamourous DJ's including Natalie Brogan, Hayley Parsons, Laura Essence, Kelly Jay, Maria Healy and Vocalist Sarah Story, our harder edged nights with the likes of Tru D, Em Extreme, Jade Brook, Lucy Fur and Miss Naught-e, underground funky nights with DJ's Laura Brown and Joolz and visits from internationals far and wide from the USA's Molly Goldberg and France's DJ Elektra. (apologies if I have missed anybody out!!)

All the nights wouldn't have been complete however without the loyal Charlys Angel residents. Although I launched Charlys back in 2001, and many a resident has come and gone, the class of 09 were definately a force to be reckoned with!!! Therefore very special thanks has to go to Lizzie Curious and DJ Ange for their endless enthusiasm, rocking sets and for generally always being reliable little angels!!!

Charlys Angelz will be back in 2010 for their 10th anniversary in Ibiza. Watch this space and thankyou to everybody who came down to play 2 and supported us in summer 2009!!!
