This October also saw the opening of Ultra Gatecrasher in Nottingham which has been restructured taking inspiration from the darker more underground live music scene. Gatecrasher also continues its dominance in the north with its Leeds club Gatecrasher 7 going from strength to strength and a new Sheffield club to be launched soon."

So there we have it the same old news we have heard but at least they still have Sheffield in mind. Maybe people can relax now.

Not that easy to get 33 of ma mates to mine then put em on a bus tho mate (especially at crimbo). . . Had it all planned lol . but if its in nottingham then aint gunna be able to afford to put the bus on so ........NEXT PLAN LOL !

Guys almost ashamed to say it but crasher have done it to me for the final time....... I have met almost all of you posting on here on the dance floor at crasher at some point. But my tickets are booked elsewhere this Christmas.....

Boxing Day is all about the house party

NYE is the day Passion Vs Storm. Line up is incredible and i am just fucked off with crasher at the moment.

Sorry to advertise another event on a Crasher forum but i'm fucked off with crasher and loads of people think the same.

I'd walk on hot coals to get to Sheffield on Boxing Day for the White Party but i wouldn't go to Nottingham if someone offered me a lift and bought my ticket. It's the principal White Party = Sheffield, END OF............

If Crasher aren't careful by the time they build their new club in Sheffield the True Crasher faithful will be that fucked off no one will go anyway and it will just be another main stream 5 night a week club with half full Crasher nights once a month that get phased out............

Carnt OTR come up with something ? ..... I mean all those who would be going crasher need somewhere to go !

I agree Dan. You'd think by now that Crasher would realise that Sheffield is where most of the faithful live and although many people travel from all over, Sheffield always has been and always will be trance central so far as Crasher is concerned.

I kind of get the feeling that maybe this is someone's bright marketing idea - hold it at the newly refurbished Ultra Gatecrasher to get people in through the doors to try to build a regular following from those in Sheffield for the Nottingham club. I doubt thats going to happen.

Pity GC can't hire the main room at Plug for the White Party. Plug don't have the overly keen security staff and overly protective laser rules that O2 have. The queues were horrendous at the 16th for many (I missed them due to my entry method otherwise I'd be complaining), but they were caused entirely by protracted searches of everyone entering. What a waste of time. People who were taking drugs either did so in advance or stashed them in places they're not allowed to search, making the searches pointless. I saw them passed around inside showing just how pointless the searches were. You'll never stop it in any club, the key is to minimise it whilst causing a minimum of disruption to your audience. Far better in my opinion to do the odd random on people who look likely to be carrying then search the entire queue and cause massive entry problems.

I got straight in as did you Lee but a little while after I took a breath outside and there was like a 1/2 mile queue, all the way down the furthest ramp and onto the road and along the pavement. All due to everyone being thoroughly searched.

Spent 10 minutes on me on my way in and nicked a fiver (!) when my back was turned although I can't prove anything, I just know exactly what money I had before I was searched and what I had when I got to the bar inside.

yeah i would like some sort of statement or confirmation so can book hotel. Would do it now but after paul van dyk at sheffield to vic works to gatecrasher 7, i dont trust crasher and not wasting money again.

It's not a bad venue, dancefloor was a bit small but I think they've made it bigger now. I'm from Rotherham but live in Leeds and going to Notts is a ball ache. It's the drive back that's a twat.
