So it’s gone mid-day on Wednesday which means the weekend is closer than it is further away (Does that make sense)

Again, there seems to be some really good events happening round our beautiful city (yes I am in a very good mood).

First up, Friday, which really does seem like the best night to go out this weekend with some great events.

Serious @ The Cross:
Two good friends of the Diverted clan (Henry Burrows & Roo) are going to be ripping it behind the decks this Friday night. Anyone who was at Turnmills on Saturday will know that Roo and Henry are in great form at the moment and if they play the house version of Razorlights “can’t stop” again, the place is going to go off in a big way. Love Story VIP Party @ Archangel, Kensington:
For those of you that are in west London and do not want a full on night out, just a few drinks, some great music and a really friendly crowd then I suggest you check this out. Sin @ Heavan:
Ok, so everyone knows this as London’s hottest gay spot, but this Friday, it also has London’s hottest line up, with Deepgroove, Cheshire cat’s and also Filthy Funk Funk’s who rocked upstairs at Pacha when we did Diverted Disco on the line up, this is going to be a quality night. On top of that, another friend to the diverted clan, Kenners, is going to be making only his second appearance behind the decks so I suggest you come show your support, this guy is one to be keeping an eye out for as his profile is sure to grow over the next few months. I cant sort out G-list but I strongly suggest you make it down (Full event details here).

Now on To Saturday, only one event that I really think is worth mentioning for Saturday:

FNUK: Punk Funk Party @ The Jam In Brixton:
I am really excited about this, with legendary spinner Brandon Block plus a host of very, very talented up and coming DJ’s I can only suggest you get down there and check it out for yourself. Guest list can be arranged so drop me an email and I will sort you out. (Full details here).


ONE FINAL NOTE, TIME TO DO YOUR BIT FOR CHARITY AT THE WHITEHOUSE (CLAPHAM) ON SUNDAY 19th AUGUST.

Diverted are running a night called showcase with all money going to the Charity Shelter, these guy’s do amazing work, not only for the homeless, but for people in danger of going down the same route. We are giving 10 DJ’s the opportunity to spin live in front of promoters from all over London. Entry is ONLY £3 and every single penny goes to the charity.
