Hey guy's, please take moment to read, I want to know your thoughts.
Saturday night I popped down to Re:Set at Plan B in Brixton and instantly the place grabbed me, The sound system is brilliant, both rooms have something to offer, the lay out of the place was brilliant.

My only worry would be wether or not we could get you lot to come down to Brixton asI know people still have their reservations about the area.

I have been trying to find a location for next year seeing as the big 3 are going and Pacha closing for 4 months at the begining of the year.

So If I put a Diverted night on in Brixton, would you guy's make the trip down???

FOR ONCE, Please dont invite your buddies as I dont want everyone nowing about this at the moment,

Mate definitely. Plan B is a wicked venue and well known. For example Moochin do nights there. People will come, trust me. You could even have different types of music in each room.

It's a good venue I like it there.
Thing about London is that people already live all over and have to travel all over to get to places so whay wouldn't they travel to Brixton?
Have a pop I say!

Paul, this will probably interest you more:

Funktion 1 soundsystem, 3 x CDJ1000's 2 x 1210's and Allan Heath Xone 92 Mixer,

I think people are starting to venture South of the River alot more, but its no way as easy as it is North of the River away from West End.

Maybe when Billy's CLubs close attitudes will change, but I have played at, and hosted parties in Brixton, and they are kinda hard work.

Established south London promoters do well.

PMSL you've soon changed your tune about South London Partying!

The trick with Brixton is to market the party locally, they are a very clued up bunch, very similar to Shoreditch minus the K! The area itself is as safe as any other in London, well lite and plenty of CCTV for your safety. But def work hard at local promo and the locals will reward you, forget them and you'll def pay the price!

Will be looking for Dj's that already have a rep in the area.

Paulo, agreed that it is not as easy as north, but once Key, Cross & Canvass go, people are going to be forced to change, and South London looks as if it will be the place to go.

The doorman are sensible with who they let in anyway!!!

I live there so no probs with me coming along. I don't like PlanB though. The crowd are a bit funny, a tiny bit hostile...not in an aggressive way but there's a little bit too much attitude to make me really comfortable there.

Saying that though, it's plenty big enough with the downstairs aswell (depending on how big you want to go of course) and the smoking area is neither big nor pleasant so you won't get the smoking exodus like you might at Jamm.

As for Brixton...it's the same police:nutter ratio as anywhere else. But there are a few more nutters. So that means there are more police around and near to you, so it's quite safe.

Give it a go hunny, I really really enjoyed Babalou the other week so I have no issues with going to Brixton, think we will be a bit closer once we move on Friday too!
