Paul TJ has been with us from the very first Never Grow Up
and a good mate of door. His electro tightly mixed style giving
contrasting and complimenting flavours to the night as a whole.
We’re glad he is back and not falling over in snow for this one
and will be finishing off upstairs in banging fashion. Here’s his specifics!

What have you been up to today?

Finishing of a presentation report for a client while listening to
some Steve Lawler on www.be-at.tv. I just returned from a nice
walk in the sun around Holborn for lunch.

Where you from?

Originally from Sydney and have moved around a lot in Australia.
I have also lived in NYC.

Where d’you live?

I've been living in West Kensington for almost 5 years now
and I love it there. It's close to the river and has easy access
to central London.

What do you like most about London?

There is always something going on, always something to do...
you can never get bored.

What where you listening to as a kid jumping around in your bedroom?

Mostly grunge and 90s hip hop. I didn't get into electronic music until I was
about 15. The Prodigy and Chemical Brothers changed everything for me.

Hot tunes to look out for this summer?

I'd be surprised if Deadmau5 didn't come up with something worthwhile
for the summer. I'd like to hear a remix of Prodigy's 'Omen'.
I think Pendulum would do another fine job at that.

What was your first vinyl?

One of them was Plump DJs Electric Disco special edition 'see-through' vinyl.
I still have it at home although I've made the switch to CD.

What’s new from you for 2009?

Getting back out there mixing regularly again after a few months
of demanding 'day job' work. Being an Aussie I would be keen
on doing an outdoor gig in the summer, a small festival would be
an incredible atmosphere.

Where can we catch you after Never Grow Up?

Apart from more banging Never Grow Up line up's throughout the coming
year, I haven't thought about that yet! Any ideas??

You looking forward to slamming our Never Grow Up crowd?
Here’s your chance to get ‘em excited.

Definitely. I'm gutted I missed the last one due to a snowboarding
holiday. I'm going to be playing some relatively new releases selected
to my taste and style, so be prepared to D.A.N.C.E
