Really what people should be doing is actually listening to the mixes and choosing which they think is best rather than just voting for their buddies as it then turns into a popularity contest.

It's simply unavoidable unless of course we as the promoters chose who wins, but the whole point of this competition is so the people attending can chose who they want to play as it's their weekend aswell.

Sadly it's just the nature of the beast.
