Does anyone still use DSI??
Just out of intrest, as if it means one less site for me to update.....

Just to give me an idea if you've read this post but can't be arsed to comment please click:

"This Made Me Laugh!".

So we get a rough idea!

New Podcast Server For 2009

Anyway you may or may not know about this but we now have our own Podcast server. This will upload all future mixes to, all future radio shows and means you can also grab everything through the iTunes store.

To access it via the iTunes store simply search for Elev8Records.

Or if you don't have iTunes, simple visit our website: elev8records.com

Here you can listen as well as download all our content....

iTunes Users

As we are new to iTunes we don't yet have any reviews, please feel free to leave us some comment as it will really help our presence on iTunes and make all my hours of uploading, recording and mixing feel worth it. We will greatly appreciate your efforts.

Cheers

Tim,

Does anyone still use DSI??

I'm still about, just less so - partly going out less, partly got other bits of my life to live.

as if it means one less site for me to update.....

I wouldn't underestimate how many people use the site as a listings guide and never actually make an account.

But yes, the breaks/electro/techno side of things is not what it was on here.

Nice one Dave, hope your good mate.

I think an era is over for DSI and a lot of clubbers have no completely vanished from the scene.

I do get the feeling that a lot of people do still check DSI they just don't bother to post!

I am also still here. There doesn't appear to be many londoners left. Infact the only people who still seem to be about Hard Dance, Trance, Hardcore type people. It's worth doing a post every now and then because as Dave says you never know who's looking in and not commenting.

You still got to much time on your hands then Xi.... ;0)

I can remember a Monday mornings login into DSI with 700+ users online.

Yer I see there is still a fair amount of action, but nothing in comparison to 2006/7 tho.

The movement of people from event threads to groups did solve a few things, but it made the site more fragmented and so harder to draw people in. (Yes, you're right - I don't want to join a regulars group for something I've not yet been to!)

I've cut down my usage of non music related stuff. There's so much shit on this website now where people have created their own groups and filled them with shite. The DJ World is always busy and there's a few specialist music groups that are still very active.

It got to the stage where i'd accepted so many invites and had large amounts of buddies inviting me to large amounts of crap. So i had a cleanse and blocked plenty of people from bulk inviting me so it seems quieter to me but a lot nicer to not have to wade through tons of utter crap

Its like fashion - it goes round in circles - the new generation will rise up and it will be busy once more - Although - by that time I will be sitting on here with my customised zimmer frame! - I`m surprised at the amount of people who have turned up at Whomp nights and have said that they have never heard of dsi...but we soon put them onto the right track (",)
