Fierce Angel resident Dave Armstrong headlines this Friday's High Society as Lose Control, Twice As Nice & Funktifino Re-Unite for High Society- ‘Viva Las Vegas’

Hot off the back of their successful launch party in June, High Society are very proud to announce the addition of Fierce Angel resident Dave Armstrong and End regular Gareth Watkins to their July line-up at Portsmouth’s prestigious Tiger Tiger venue. Taking place on Friday the 11th July from 20:00pm until 02:00am; High Society will re-unite London born House brand Lose Control with Portsmouth’s very own Funk, Disco, Soul & Classics party providers Funktifino and universally renowned Bassline House, Old Skool and Commercial R’n’B promoters Twice As Nice. This time bringing with them a Viva Las Vegas theme, the event is set to continue where the last one left off – with style and panache and will once again be supported by Power FM.

Spread across three rooms, High Society unites three established club brands, starting with Lose Control, who bring their unique blend of Funky House & Electro to the main room direct from their residency at Pacha, London. For this High Society event – LC welcome their very special guest Fierce Angel resident Dave Armstrong, FA of course being the brainchild of the creators of the almighty Hed Kandi so a night of the very finest House music clubland has to offer is in order! In addition to this, Lose Control residents and remix kings the Future Freakz will be in full attendance alongside the welcome return of Truly Scrumptious resident Tony Broad and a full Las Vegas ‘Girly Show’ from the Lose Control resident dancers.

Twice As Nice head up the second room bringing with them another stacked line-up of commercial sexy R’n’B, Bassline House and Old Skool beats. Featuring the talents of Sony BMG’s DJ Reds, Bad Bizznezz’ DJ Bizzy, guest DJ Rudy and hosted by Ibz, be sure to witness a live and direct example of all that is good about this almighty brand that has built itself as one of the UK’s leading R’n’B parties that, has not only spawned a successful spin-off compilation album series but also regular slots at venues all over the UK and beyond including a weekly residency at Eden in Ibiza.

In the third room, one of Portsmouth’s leading and longest running party providers, Funktifino re-unite to provide a soundtrack of 70’s Funk, Disco, 80’s Soul & 90’s Club Classics. After pushing the boundaries of Portsmouth nightlife for over a decade, the Funktifino Allstars – Darth Fader, Chewbazza and very special guest Gareth Watkins from London’s legendary venue The End; combine with Funktifino’s resident live percussionist Hand Solo to re-create the kind of party atmosphere that have kept the Funktifino collective at the top of their game on the South Coast for well over ten years, with a huge faithful following that will see them organising parties for another ten years to come, so get your Vegas groove on, because it’s about to get funky at downtown Tiger!

The event, as with the launch party will also feature an exclusive VIP room with a Las Vegas Casino theme that includes Roulette & Black Jack and prizes for top players! Membership to the group will give you Queue Jump to the event on the night, VIP Casino Admission and $1000 in High Society dollars. Admission to this event costs £5 before 10pm and £8 after and is strictly for over 18’s only. Full opening hours are 8pm until 2am and the dress code is simple – make an effort... we have!
