THE HOTTEST MIX FROM IBIZA’S COOLEST HOTEL


Mark Doyle and the Es Vive team have been working together since 2001. Their relationship has produced 10 amazing compilations including the “The Base Bar” series and the stunning “Es Vive” series. This year Fierce Angel returns to their favourite address in Ibiza for another 3CD mix of the Fiercest Ibiza anthems. Each CD provides a different flavour of the worlds coolest island and the island’s hippest hotel. Compiled and mixed by Mark Doyle the CD has been fine-tuned with the assistance of hotel owner Jason Bull and Fierce Angel Ibiza resident Ben Santiago.

This years CD features the amazing artwork of Jason Cook alongside model Louise Cliffe, their combined efforts have produced a unique set of images that capture the essence of
Fierce Angel, Es Vive and Ibiza!

CD1 is a much more laidback affair than previous years with a return to a proper Ibiza chill-out selection. The first CD features Fierce Angel regulars rubbing shoulders with some hot new artists; Eric Kupper has remixed Peyton & Robina into Fierce poolside anthems, Chris Coco has provides two absolute Ibiza moments from Liquid Sunrays & City Reverb and the CD is completed by an exclusive collaboration between Fierce Angel friends Zak Radak and The Lovely Laura. This deep house anthem is the perfect finish to a sun-drenched selection of daytime chill.

CD2 moves into dance-floor territory in preparation for a night on the town in Ibiza and where better to spend it than at the legendary Base Bar. This little bar in Ibiza town has entertained some of the biggest names in dance music and continues to be the only place to start a wild night out. The mix begins on a funky tip with offerings from Sam Sparro, Freemasons and Gusto then toughens up with future anthems from Ultravibe, Prok & Fitch and Stonebridge & Wawa.

CD3 is a taste of Ibiza’s best-kept secret, the hottest late night bar in Ibiza’s hippest hotel – The Smirnoff Experience Bar at Es Vive! This mix is a much darker twisted affair and reflects the sound of Fierce Angel in full effect at 6am. The mix begins in deeper electronic territory with offerings from Satoshie Tomiie, Axwell, Pryda and Shapeshifters then notches up the madness with tracks from Kris Menace & Spooky and Alan Braxe. The CD closes with 3 absolute anthems from Meck, The Potbelleez and Dirty South. Each one is a hands in the air Ibiza moment and the perfect way to capture
the atmosphere of Es Vive!

Fierce Angel is in residence at Es Vive each and every Saturday and the opening weekend had it’s own share of Ibiza moments including Jason Bull going on the missing list before a TV interview, the theft of Shane’s beloved motorbike from outside the hotel and argument about just how many spiders you swallow in a year ...Only in Ibiza!

yes I know I am biased, but.....Es Vive Ibiza 2008 ROCKS! This is my favourite release of the year so far, its got it all - Balearic chill, big ol' disco house & Mr Doyle gets distinctly dirrrrty on CD3. Whats not to love here!

ohhhh... Can't wait to get hold of a copy... anticipating the relase of this latest work of Art from Fierce !!!!!

Cd 1 is awesome on this
A great laidback cd, I made the mistake of looking at it and not recognizing many names and going straight to cd 2 but once I tried 1 it hasn't came out of the player!!

Cd 2 is very cool with lots of stiff people will know but also awesome new stuff like ultravibe etc which I think is a blinding record

Cd3 is in a league of it's own and for me man with the red face has to be "track of the album"

I can't believe I've finally managed to get on here!! Only taken me about 3 months...I'm able to speak...hurrah!
Es Vive really is one of the best compilations Fierce Angel have put out. I've just come back from the hotel itself in Ibiza and had one of the best times I've had for a long time out there. The cd just brings back some fantastic memories of the poolside party and the fun we all had at the Smirnoff Experience.
It's the ONLY place to be after 6am in Ibiza and what a fantastic reminder I had when I listened to the cd when I got back...it's just perfect. Loving cd 1 (Eric Kupper, Peyton and Falling...sigh) and cd3 just takes me straight back to 7am in Es Vive when we all had daft grins on our faces!
Fantastic stuff...get a copy and enjoy the only bit of summer we''ll have in London!!!

This CD sums up the whole Ibiza experience - the perfect mix of chilled, eclectic, hands in the air, and dirty nasty techy mayhem to complete the journey.
Es Vive never disappoints, the atmosphere, the hotel, the wonderful staff, the gorgeous cocktails and the late night shenanigans in the Experience Bar make it a great destination to really soak up that Ibiza magic.
I'm getting goosebumps thinking about the Saturday pool party - it's the gig I most look forward to in the whole year.
Mark's excelled himself again with this being the jewel in the Fierce Angel crown. Big props!!!!

Absolutely LOVE this album, really sums up everything about the summer out there. Will be playing that one non stop!
