Bournemouth is well known as a beautiful English seaside town full of old people BUT it's also known for its HUGE array of talented DJs and John Black happens to be one of them!!! Born John Simon White, the 28 year old born and bred cherry has been heavily involved in the hard dance scene for many years but in 2006 he decided to take up the art of turntablism!!! Armed with his 1210's, John first begn mixing Hard House in the early parts of 2006 and within a year he had bagged himself his first gig @ Frenzy for there Future Hero`s night, John must have done something right because it wasn't long before he was back @ Frenzy for their next 2 dates. Since then things have started looking up for John as he found himself being booked by a few of the local promotions such as Resonate/Rebirth/Resistance/Frenzy/+12. His proudest moment to date was being asked to play for Resonate UK Legends @ Crank.

It was around that time that John was getting bored with just helping promote different nights such as Frenzy / Resonate and wanted to get his foot inside the door of promotion himself, this was when he secured a venue to put on his hard dance night once a month, and on the 3rd of November 2007 Bournemouth saw the birth of Implosion. John still continues to run Implosion to this day and the nights keep getting bigger and better. Implosion has seen Dj`s such as Matt Donor (One half of the Organ Donors) / Iain Cross / SL-DJ grace the decks as well as some of Bournemouth's finest up and coming Dj`s! Currently John is into the dirtier sounds of Hard Trance and Hardstyle and each set promises to be a journey through these sounds, with new tunes and classics alike! With already quite a few bookings in and around the south coast for 2009 expect big things!

So manhandle the weekend out of the queue for the cloakroom, and shove it back onto the dancefloor!
