Vicky Devine:

• What did you want to be when you were 10?
When I was 10 I wanted to be a doctor. I actually went on to study Biology at University and got a Masters Degree, but the Djing took over eventually and my hobby became my career!!

• What were you doing this time ten years ago?
This time 10 years ago funnily enough I came to Ibiza for the first time and I actually went to the Judgement Sundays opening party in 2000 – the very first Judgement Sundays event! I can remember standing there and thinking I’d love to play at this night one day. I never dreamed I would one day be a resident.

• If you only had 10 euros to spend in Ibiza what would you buy?
I’d buy a loaf of bread, some eggs, some teabags and some cravendale milk. I have to have a cup of tea and eggs on toast when I get in from a hard night partying. Very English I know but its a life saver.

• What present would you get Judgement Sundays for its tenth birthday?
Another ten years of success of course…

• When was the last time you fell over?
I didn’t actually fall over, but on the way home from Judgement Sundays at Ministry of Sound I wasn’t looking where I was going while talking to some friends and I walked into a lamp post – which they all obviously found highly amusing!

• What was the cause of your last hangover?
The extra large measures of Vodka that you get in Ibiza! It takes a whole season to get used to them and so the first few nights out when you get to the island always result in a major hangover the next day.

• What was the last thing you bought on your credit card?
Music – I am forever scanning Trackitdown and Beatport for last minute tracks and things that I might have missed.

• What was your worst fashion mistake ever?
Dungarees! I used to live in them when I first started raving and thought they were amazing. My favourite pair had pockets all over them which I could fit absolutely everything into when I went to festivals and I thought they were brillian. Unfortunately looking back at photos I now realise maybe not…

• What is your least favourite dance music genre and why?
I really can’t stand Minimal music. I know loads of people love it and they say how “intelligent” it actually is, but for me music is all about those big builds, breakdowns and melodies that make you smile and you just don’t get that with minimal music. To me its boring!
