Just a few days now unitl KOTG take over Victoria Park (Newbury) for the towns dance music event of the summer !

House Music : Beer Tent : Paella Tent : Kids Face Painting : Summer Vibe

Saturday 1st Sept : 12pm to 8pm

KOTG DJ's Alber, Robbins, Neil&Dan, James Walsh and Sarah Cox.

The event is then followed by the official after party at Cuba 8pm to 3am with Mode DJ's guesting.

Spread the word, get your buddies in and lets go out of summer 2007 with a bang !

Following some discussion it has been decided that the world record attempt (who am I kidding, bolted on successful entry into the Book of Records) for 'Largest Cowbell Ensemble', will not be going ahead this weekend. It was felt that, given the shortness of time and the cost of the cowbells, that it is a bit prohibitive. Now I know everyone will be upset, (I'm fighting back the tears just typing this), but all is not lost. We WILL stage this record in Summer 2008, so that in the meantime, we can try a pick up some cheap cowbells, and do plenty of promotion/advertising. Apologies and all that, but at least by the time next Summer rolls around we should all be experts on this particular percussion instrument. May I suggest instead that we all just really wrecked and have a right good knees up.

He was still doing it when I was there. I remember go-karting on the heavy duty wheels they shift piano's with. I took a chunk out of the wall in a crash ! He would have to walk into the room seconds after the accident ! Special Yellow Pages treatment for me !

He did have one of the best moustaches in town though and was always twiddling it !!!!!!!!!!
