Return to New York & Maison... Friday 6th July
I've just come from a meeting at the Opera House and I'm not kidding - it looks amazing.. as soon as I can I'll get some pictures up on here.

In the meantime, gather round... we're putting together a series of large-ass parties with Arthur Baker's Return to New York.

The first of these will be on Friday July 6th, and then we'll have a monthly Saturday starting mid-August.

For now, just tick "I'll Be There" if you're coming and we'll tell you more over the coming weeks...

To get tickets now go here, or visit Frolic Records.

We have got some unbelievable parties lined-up for the Opera House - line-ups that we just couldn't put together in any other venue - and now the venue is in another league compared to the Opera House we all remember...

Get the news first... sign up for Maison's newsletters and join our DSI group.

More info coming your way soon...

Clare if you manage to stay in until after 6th July I'll buy you a drink... ;-)

either way - I'm glad you're making an exception for us!

Haha, I'll hold you to that, would be pretty impressed with myself if I do make it I must say.

1 month today and counting!

I've not got yesterdays echo....:o(

Saw a video on you tube but is so dark you can't really see it properly, would have expected a few to be up now as has opened.

Had a search on echo website with no joy - they weren't the best pics anyway.

i'll have some photos soon - hopefully by the end of the week... i was talking to someone yesterday and said i thought it was probably the best venue for miles around, and he said "best in the country".... and i've got to admit, when he said that I struggled to think of anywhere better... certainly in terms of impact when you first walk in...

(*stands back and waits for... "yeah, but when you stand in the middle of the floor at Fabric" and other such geekery)

;-)

I'll be there for Cat Empire - don't know much about them but I know a few people who went to see them in London and loved every minute...

Cat Empire is next Tuesday 12th June. If you haven't seen the venue yet, come and have a beer with us (especially you Clare - I'm determined not to buy you that beer ;-)

no - what did he say?

He was complaining that James' article was little more than an advertisement and that maybe he should go and find some victims of crime instead.

On a lighter note, apparently I just missed you last night. I popped down after the football for the non-existent quiz.
