Minimar Kicks Off 2007 A Bang

After smashing on to the London club scene in October 2006, Minimar announces it first party of what is going to be a very busy 2007. Minimar returns to Heaven on January 12th with two of London’s best underground DJ’s, the eclectic and very talented Simone Actetone and John Taylor. With London’s most fashionable party crowd full of Italian, Spanish and English, Minimar sure has a cosmopolitan feel to it. All mixing, dancing and grooving to its trademark minimal – house – electronic sound.

Both headlining DJ’s will be taking you on a journey through their outstanding minimal, techno and electro house sets. Expect dark, deep and twisted beats from two of London nu-skool underground DJ’s.

John Taylor is one of London’s most respected ambassadors of the electro scene. His instantly recognisable and highly individualistic style, which has evolved through the spectrums of dance music, is diverse, interesting and technically skilled.
With his adoption of all things electro, John has DJ-ed across the country, including drama, electrogog, the cock, Nag Nag Nag, Trailer Trash, Computer Blue, Turnmills to name a few. His rising profile as an electro DJ has seen John take his electro sounds to Japan, Brazil, Italy, Barcelona and the jewel in the crown Ibiza, where John has played everywhere and was the first electro DJ to play the opening of Space.

Simon Acetone is the founder of the London based electro label Delta B Recordings. A DJ for over 10 years he has played all over Europe and further afield, and as a lifelong music obsessive he brings a wealth of musical knowledge to his productions and his role as A&R Director of Delta B. A believer in the international nature of the electro scene, Simon has forged alliances with many other artists and labels around the world, and this is reflected in the Delta B catalogue (which has artists from the UK, Argentina, France, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Finland - the list goes on!!).
