How you doing?

I'm just dropping in to give you a bit of an update on things :)

The first gig I'm going to cover was on the 27th of June. I had been booked to play for one of the scene biggest and best love brands 'Storm' which is based in Coalville. The lovely Scott Foshaw offered to take me down which meant it would make the road trip a little more exciting. Unfortunately we didn't move an inch on the motorway for at least one hour due to an accident, this gave Scott & myself time to lock each other in the car boot to see who could last the longest!...''Productive'' We finally arrived at the club with a couple of minutes to spare before my set. Playing the main room at Storm is quite an experience as the club is so huge and the crowd always so loud! It was a classics night which meant I had to delve into the memory box and dig out those big anthems some of which came out before I was even legally aloud into a night club! The gig was very enjoyable and I would of loved to stay around and soak up the atmosphere but I had to shoot of to my second gig of the night.

The second gig was for Xzilar8 in Harrogate which is a local based hard style night. As I approached the decks hard dance legend Mark EG was rounding up his set. Mark is well know for his crazy vibes behind the turntables and due to pumping things up so mentally I was left with out no monitors as they couldn't handle the hardness of the beats! The crowd was mega pumped thanks to Mark which made my set an absolute corker! I do love playing the harder tracks in my wallet and its always nice to see a club full of people enjoying them as much as me :)

We earlier (sorry not to go in the correct order of time) my Slinky.fm show went out at its new time of slot of 10pm every 4th Tuesday of the month. We played a lot more house music this time around which I was a little apprehensive about, but I'm glad to say the response to the show was spot on and would like to thank the people who got in touch after the show. On the July 3rd I accompanied Mr Fo Shaw to his gig in London at the well know club Hidden for Frantic. The club was very unique and the London crowd were well up for it! So if you haven't check it out yet I suggest you do so!!

As we hit the middle of the year and all the fresh tracks come through the summer, I'm now putting together my brand new promo mix for 2009! Its around 75% complete so keep your ears pealed and make sure you grab a copy:)

Also guys I have had a brand new photo shoot done with the very talented Tom Betts, who has shot the liked of Judge Jules, Cally Gage & Ilogik to name a few. The shoot was lots of fun and you can see the shots on all my web pages.

The final gig in this instalment was at Parlez Vous in Bradford. This was now my 3rd time at PV and as more gigs come through the better you can build a relationship with the clubbers that attend, as its always nice to see familiar faces on the dance floor. The PV crowd has a very open mind when it comes to hard dance so it gives me the opportunity to go through different sub genres throughout my set. The place was rocking and with Andy Whitby headlining it was never going to be a dull night! I left the venue with a huge satisfied grin as the night was a great one all round :)

Im now going to lock myself in the studio for a few weeks so watch out for some new music :)
