C'MON IT'S FOR CHARITY! PLEASE ADD BUDS!
SATURDAY 27TH JANUARY!!

It’s the first PlinkPlinkFizz party of 2007 proper! PlinkPlinkOz is our celebration of Australia Day
– there’s a bunch of Aussies amongst the Plink Crew which organise our parties every month and it’s only fair that we celebrate the great nation of Australia with it’s wonderful beaches, great weather and brilliant cricket team (you don’t realise how hard it is for the English contingent to hear that)…

As a result of the extremely heavy and embarrassing Ashes defeat, House FM's Simon ‘Skippy’ Francis (one of the English contingent) will be DJing in a kangaroo suit for the evening!

DJs accompanying Simon in the DJ booth will be the wonderful Fyrbeat, who last wowed us in September with an amazing set of house and breaks! She’s been guesting all over the place including The Gallery at Turnmills and Wildchild at Heaven and we’re very happy to have her back!

We also have the absolutely fabulous Alex Wells from the Hipswing Sound System! If you party in North London, you should have seen her spinning wicked house music at their residencies in Farringdon and Camden. She’s got her passport out and come to entertain us Sarf Londoners for the first time at Plink!

We will also have a raffle on the night where prizes will include:

A VIP club night at Ministry of Sound for you and 4 friends
2 Tickets to Eargasm at Fabric Live on March 2nd!
CD packs from Finger Lickin Records
Cases of beer donated by Cobra and Fosters Twist!
Plus anything else we can get our hands on!

To ensure that you get in for this party, you need to be on the guestlist! Entry is £3 all night with all your money going to the following charities:

The McGrath Foundation
Jane McGrath, wife of Aussie legend and scourge of the England cricket team for the past decade Glenn, set up this charity to pay for the training of nurses for breast cancer care. Jane has had a couple of cancer scares herself and her great work has raised a significant amount of money in Australia for this wonderful cause. Check out www.mcgrathfoundation.com.au

Breast Cancer Care
One of a number of wonderful charities in the UK researching breast cancer, its causes and new treatments. They support a number of small centres across the country as well as setting up helplines where people can speak to qualified nurses and volunteers! Check out www.breastcancercare.org.uk

We really would like your support on this so please, all of you and all your friends, come down for what is always a fantastic night out and help us raise loads of money for the two charities! Any Aussies who want to see an Englishman or two (another bet loser is set to wear a koala outfit) should come down too!!

VENUE: The Prince, 467-469 Brixton Road, SW9 8HH
NEAREST TUBE: Brixton (Victoria Line)
