So Shakes will finally be living in a proper house in London and theres a couple of birthdays to celebrate. What better way to do this than another legendary Balham house party?

As for a theme, roll up your suit sleeves, pull on your leg warmers and dig out all of your fluorescent clothes and accessories for:

"80z/nu-rave"

You might want to dress like your favourite 80s TV/film character (Transformers, Thundercats, Miami Vice, Knight Rider, Airwolf, Back to the Future, Ghost Busters, Labrynth, Dangermouse, Fame, etc.), glam rocker, raver, hippety hop rapper (alarm clock or VW badge round the neck anyone?), or at least get your NU RAVE style neon accessories on (we'll have UV lights).

Entertainment will be brought to you by the likes of Mittens and his crazy party tunes, Stewart and James playing the usual pogo style mish-mash, other guest DJs and many other things yet to be confirmed such as: Fun House style games, Dan throwing a hissy fit and locking himself in the toilet, pin the mullet on the football player, coffee table destruction and body popping competitions.

Materials have been bought for banners and other neon decorations, fun with paint will ensue in coming nights; we are now in posession of a slightly larger PA than is probably legal in a residential area, we have more DJs than we can fit on the decks in one night (old skool DJ battles may be possible); people are starting to wonder how to dress as stupid as they did in the 80z and there's excitement in the air!
