A Polite Request?...Lol!
Hi to all U Savaged Fruit Cakes! Haha!

I've been chatting to a few Savaged Party Go'ers and while we all cant wait for Savaged to get Harder, Faster, Better, Stronger, We're a little worried that some of the Bouncy House that tends to be played at the beginning of the night will be lost! Oh No! Lol!

Just curious as to what others from the Savaged Crew are thinking on the subject??? It tends to be a great Ice-Breaker for the night, I for 1 and others thoroughly enjoy it before the Really Hard S*** gets played (which we all really enjoy aswell!). What are peoples thoughts? Sorry if it seems Im whining like a bitch, Lol!

We are merely Servants controlled by the great force that is...Long Live Savaged!

I personally love the filthy, hard stuff but definitely hear what you;re saying mate. Next month looks a bit special and has been highlighted as just that. I don't think you need to worry about Savaged being turned into an all out assault on your senses from the moment you walk through the door. We,re lucky to have some bloody good residents, all of whom know the time & place for filth, as do they know the time & place for warm up sets etc. There's still gonna be a wide range of hard house styles played @ our wonderful little party & as much as the likes of Mad Will & Norris are gonna slut it up for us (nice one lads), I can't quite see Kid Rich or Mr. Savaged himself getting rid of their bounce classics.

I think Johns pretty much bang on there. We're certainly not getting rid of the bouncy stuff altogether.

The thing is, I personally am sick to death of hearing the same tunes month in month out, and Im sure Im not alone. You used to go to Savaged, and it would be guarenteed you would hear tunes like 'Fantastic Thing', 'Music Is Moving', etc etc, now of course there is still a place for these tunes, they are classics, but they are also around 7 - 8 years old and have been cained to fucking death. It seemed to me that while other nights were embracing the newer styles of hard house, Savaged was stuck in a time warp and not going anywhere musically, and was getting left behind.

We are looking to create a happy medium so that everyones happy. Im glad youve posted this Dan as its this kind of feedback we need so we can make the night the best as possible, nice one mate :)

And as John said, I really cant see Mr Savaged ditching his bounce lol!

Personally I do think we should be embracing the newer syles as anyone who has heard a recent set of mine will know!

I do also think that Savaged has been around for 6 years now and we shouldn't just forget what got us there. I also don't think the first few hours of Savaged is suitable for filth so I don't think you need to worry just yet Dan

Nice one all! Im glad some intelligent replies have made their way through! :)

All very good points and its all on-board! Lol! Everyone has pretty much said that a happy medium is best, which sounds cool! Not just for me but Everybody. The DJ's do a feking awesome job as with everyone on and off the scene and its definitely turned out to be one of the best nights of my clubbing month! Informal, Fun, No Trouble, Great Atmosphere and generally brilliant! Cheers!

I dont like hearing the same tunes ova and ova either and cant wait for the next one! I'll still be on da floor, Lappin it up! Sorry to all if I seemed to gripe, dont wanna offend any of ya, I just care..........Hehe!..........Till the 3rd! Peace Out...........

Too right! Dan & his glow stix are an integral part of Savaged too. It's the comments from the stomping public that matter the most if you ask me. And on the note of Rich's recent sets, that last set I saw at v14gra was fucking excellent mate, which backs up what I said about our DJ's knowing what to play & when!
