No flying? I am a pilot and I have read of no flight restrictions in our NOTAM's (notice to airmen).

If its anything like the other westfests iv been to a lot of people will be flying

are they worried about the clean up afterwards or just genrally dont want ravers promoting raves ne more?

So you are allowed to flyer, just you want to be paid for others to do so....

A lot of events dont allow or encourage unlicenced flyering, good reason too considering the amount of people who just drop the flyers everywhere anyway... It costs money to clean that shit up and isnt too great for the environment either.

just seems odd the council will allow an official pack but not independants, surely slammin have to do a clear up operation after everyone has left anyway, so i dont see how some fliers added to things will be any worse than the usual debris left by ravers that someone has to clear up.

The flyers all over the floor would add huge amounts to the clean up afterwards

Slammin are saying if you want to add your flyer to the pack (thats in a bag) then to call Ben and their event will still be promoted.

People are far more likely to take a "flyer pack" thats in a bag with them rather than just a pile of flyers that have been chucked at them!

if you want to clean it up, or pay to clean it up then you crack on.
