OK, a lot of people have asked me what happened on Friday and why we wont be going back to RIVA.

So fu*k it, here goes...

There are several reasons why we wont be going back to RIVA but the primary reason is that the security on the door ruined our chances of staying open until three and therefore cut short a wicked night for a lot of people.

Now, dont get me wrong, two out of the three doorman were absolutely fine but there was one who was actively turning people away (i have been told this by several people).
He was telling people to not bother going in or that they were too drunk to get in!

I witnesed him turning away several peole for being, 'too drunk' who were quite clearly not a danger to themselves or posed a risk to the clubs security.
Correct me if i'm wrong but is it not usual practise for the majority of people to have a few drinks before they get to a club???

We had a load of folk turn up at half twelve from the velvet lounge, about ten or so and none of them were aloud in!

Guess who was first to leave the venue when the place shut early? That's right the doorman who had been turning people away. Guess he was on a promise or wanted his cup of warm milk and cookies.

This is is the main reason we wont be going back but also because we worked our butts off for this event and the club doesnt do anything to promote the venue as a whole, the bar staff couldn't grasp simple drinks promotions (even after being told three times!) and as for the toilets, has anyone seen trainspotting??
