Paul Glazby @Insomniacz The 10th Birthday Sat 19th Sept @ The 02 Arena Sheffield !!!!

Celebrating a decade of stomping
hard house. The best atmosphere, clubbers & friends in the world

Insomniacz is proud to announce our 10th Birthday Celebrations
are to be held at the 02 Academy Sheffield on 19th September 2009.After a 4
year hiatus we stormed back onto the Hard House scene with our April reunion
attracting 1500 clubbers. Many felt the excitement & buzz created prior
to the event couldn't be matched, yet the night was an unbelievable reminder
of what the clubbing masses had been missing. The club was full by 9pm &
stayed that way until 4am when the masses moved to the official after party.
For such an occasion we pulled out all the stops. A DJ line-up not seen since
we last put on an event with heavy hitter after heavy hitter. A live VJ the
entire night to personal the sets & clubbers experience.Lasers & decor
that wowed the audience.

For many this was their clubbing experience of the year, & some even their
lives!

How could we possibly surpass that experience?

Roll up our very special 10th Birthday! Bigger
venue, bigger visuals - a whole bigger experience
in total! This can not be missed.

In November 2007, AMG chose the former Roxy Nightclub on Arundel Gate to open
the 02 Academy Sheffield. A large purpose built entertainment venue, the Roxy
had various incarnations since the 1970's and 1980's and featured high profile
gigs from The Clash and David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust Tour (1972). A prime city
centre location, O2 Academy Sheffield opened in April 2008 with local heroes,
Reverend and The Makers, with a legendary after-party courtesy of Jarvis Cocker.
O2 Academy Sheffield has already won 'Best Live Venue 2008' at Sheffield's Exposed
Magazine Awards, with several other category nominations.

Now it can add Ministry's best club (2000) & Mix Mags recommended venue
(1999-2004) to that list.

Previous Insomniacz birthdays have seen 2,000 sellouts with thousands turned
away at the door, so we felt this venue would be ideal for such interest.

For such a venue & event there had to be a list of DJ's that deserve to
grace the stage.

A+D+A+M LAB 4 LIVE PA -
While being obviously comparable to Lab4, the sound of 'A+D+A+M lab4'
is a new balance of old and new, dark and light with a massive doses of uplifting
fun. Adam still refuses to be 'pigeon holed' with a disregard for labels and
boundaries, basing his judgements purely on the dance floor and what sounds
good REALLY loud. With his roots initially in metal and industrial, along the
way Adam has picked up influences of Hardcore, Rave, Trance, Hard House and
Techno and fused them all into his own sound that is Confident, Cheeky, Teasing
, Dynamic and Emotional.

LIVE DJ’s

The Tidy Boys -
Without doubt the biggest influence on Hard House spanning all spectrums &
styles since setting up Tidy Trax in 2005. From there they have gone on to release
some of the biggest Hard House anthems to date. They've ran fantastic events
from the unmissable Tidy Weekenders to the unforgettable Magna extravaganzas,
these boys know how to rock a party. After their successful come back at Insomniacz
in April we are pleased to welcome them again to send the dance floor into chaos!

Paul Glazby -
His name is synonymous with the global hard house scene. From fast-paced astutely
delivered award winning DJ performances, to hard dance chart-topping productions,
it all began at Insomniacz. Firmly installed as resident playing the famous
last set at 12 midday Paul is one for the hardcore. As Insomniacz grew so did
Paul & he ventured into creating his own record label, the hugely successful
& respected Vicious Circle. Without Glazby finishing off it simply wouldn't
be an Insomniacz event.

Andy Farley -
Fans, many of whom think nothing of travelling the length and breadth of the
UK and beyond to see him perform, affectionately describe Andy Farley as “The
God Father of Hard House”; his unquestionable technical ability, knowledge
and passion of the hard-dance scene is the envy of many and goes some way in
explaining his huge popularity amongst a wide cross-section of today’s
audiences.

ilogik -
Acknowledged as one of the most technically gifted DJ's around renowned for
his set progression by reading the crowd & superlative scratching abilities.
Working for the biggest labels & playing the biggest events Ilogik has also
put so much back into the scene with his own label Elasticman being an outlet
for his distinct sound.

Mark Gray -
After several years rest Mark returned to wow the crowds at our Re-union in
April & smashed the dance floor apart, it was like he & Insomniacz were
never away. As part of the furniture Mark is going to continue to bring his
big smile & uplifting but driving sound to all Insomniacz events going forward.

Ian Barker -
The perfect artist to get the event started. Ian's uncompromising funky edge
set's the tone & anticipation for the rest of the night. Who else could
help get a venue filled by 9pm like at our Re-union? Resident at all our events
Ian is first class.

Be prepared to be blown away with the music, production and staging area. Other
included entertainment will see lasers, fire eaters, stilt walkers & grinders.

So for all those that haven't slept since April 12th get yourselves back to
Sheffield & the 02 Academy on September 19th 2009 for the biggest birthday
party of the year!
