anyone know how this reacts with alcohol? usually have a few beers end of night when on mdma to bring myself back down, just wondered what peoples experience of alcohol and metheldrone is?

"Too much" being, of course, relative. The issue with MMC is that it has been used recreationally for only a very short period of time, and we are still building up a base of knowledge about how the human reacts to it. In many respects, the situation now is like it was with MDMA in 1988/89. The difference is that reports of adverse effects with MMC are appearing already, and they are symptom that are not typically found with MDMA.

Of course, "back in the day," many people were happy with one MDMA pill a night, which - even accounting for the perenial "it was stronger back" then claims - is a marked difference to MDMA use now. It seems to me that people who are in all probability frequent and moderate-to-heavy MDMA users are doing MMC as if it were MDMA. Mobygo, it's all very well you being flippant and labelling someone a "lightweight," but we're getting reports of people getting skin rashes, tachycardia, and other adverse physical effects on just 600mg, something we simply do not see with equivalent doses of MDMA. The reality seems to be that a MMC has a higher adverse reaction potential at lower doses than MDMA, so people thinking it's just a 1:1 substitute are taking far greater risks.

Not exactly true i am sure mmc has a lower death rate so far than pretty much every other drug.

If you drink first then take it, it acts like amphetamine, with a sobering effect, very little point drinking on it as only speeds up dehydration & you have no effects of the alcohol at all.

I was only joking.. didn't mean to sound flippant! It's an interesting debate all round, I know tolerance levels are different all round. One thing users should be very wary is stuff that is being cut with pharmaceutical caffiene, very fluffy & white in appearence, causes massive headaches & symptoms of anxiety, alost very wired feeline, very short lived buzz and generally not nice. Also another cutting agent used sadly is ephedrine which again can have bad effects on the state of your mind & heart rate when expecting the mephedrone buzz. Yes mephedrone is a stimulant and will affect your heart rate, but caffiene & ephedrine cut with it make it wrong. After all if you wnated either of the other substances you would buy then independantly.... My partner & I had a few dodgy cuts off reputable sellers or so we thought. Shame that peeps get greedy & powder power takes over...

I'm with Tube-Cat on this, personal experience (severe pins & needles after moderate use plus strong desire to keep taking more & more) has made me very wary of MMC.

No, the number of deaths attributed to it is currently low (~2), but then the numbers actually using it are still quite low, as well.

In comparison, the death rate for MDMA alone (i.e. not mixed with any other drugs) is around one in every million instances of use. There are currently half a million instances of MDMA use each weekend in the UK - 26 million a year, hence an average 27 deaths per year between 2001 & 2006. The majority of these deaths are due to hyperthermia (overheating) rather than an acute adverse or allegic type of reaction due to MDMA itself.

The first death from MDMA in the UK didn't occur until tens of thousands of people had already done it, without suffering the sort of adverse reactions that are being reported out of what must be a much smaller pool of users of MMC (probably <5,000).

I'm cutting away back on my use of Meph, as a heavy MDMA user since '93 the 'speeding heart' issue does concern me, had a touch myself after a few very heavy sessions on it but nothing compared to some reports I have read about from other users. Moderation the key for sure.

Highly enjoyable drug though have to say, no surprise so many people seem to be loving it

I was on it all weekend this wekeend just gone and have told myself that I cannot do it again. I really like the stuff which to me firstly raises alarm bells. I agree is it extremely moreish.

I also experienced pins and needles as mentioned on that report and a tension headache right where my spine would join my head.
Alot of people say they can sleep on it... Not a chance for me!
Was trying to sleep having done this stuff all weekend (aswell as normal things which I can sleep on not a problem hence attributing this to the Meiow) and you know how you twitch when you go to sleep as your muscles are relaxing?.. I had the most extreme twitches I have ever experienced in my life. My legs were literally jumping around the bed as if they had a mind of their own. After 3 sleeping tables somehow I must have drifted to sleep. Extreme twitching is very annoying when you've got work the next day and you have gone to bed at a sensible time! I went to work the following day but had to leave after an hour as I wasn't fit to be at work, so tired and blatantly still wired.

This stuff is nice, but evil. Something to be very wary of.

Ive never had pins&needles and Ive cained it silly amounts. I'm the same and so is everyone who has done it that I know, sleeps a no-go if enough is taken. Difference being I generally feel fine next day, with no sleep required.

Also remember it can depend on the quality of the meph being taken. Ive heard reports of the stuff being cut and having a total powder appearance and noticable smell. We have been doing nothing but the crystal stuff direct from China untouched. Be careful people but enjoy, Id much rather be doing meph then the shite pips pills and fake MDMA that seem to be everywhere
