Ecstasy Pills:

Over the last decades, pills have become an expected part of club culture with some choosing to take them in order to heighten the sense of eupohoria and prolongue the night.

Ecstasy is a manufactured drug which in all essence comes in a pill form, generally half the diameter of a penny and 2 or 3 times as deep. The pill is normally stamped with some form of insignia or logo, such as a Mitsubishi, Rolex, Pascha or Dove (among a great deal many more). Due to the chemical manufacture process of this drug it is impossible to say it will always be a generic product of same makeup or effect as it is made in batches.

Generalisations can be made for the batches, taking into mind the locality and dates of supply... If you've had a good buzz off a “mitzi” whilst clubbing in Manchester for New Years the likelyhood is it will be an entirely different consistency to a “mitzi” you may find in Lands End for Easter. Batch presses run into their 10's of thousands with great ease so the likelyhood is that you may get the same batch running through the locality for months and that some people may obtain their supply locally to outsource throughout the UK.

Purity:

Pills can have any number of different chemicals going into them to make them cheaper to produce and give you that well known buzz. The most well known being MDMA, other favourites include amphetamine, caffeine, paracetamol and ketamine (these can explain both the mongy and energetic side effects).
More recently synthetic chemicals like PMA & 4-MTA have been sold as pills with varying effects, leading to concerns of overdosing amongst other things.

What's in a Name?

The pills themselves are often abbreviated in name to the insignia pressed onto the ('mitsi', 'rolex', etc) or a more generalised name such as:

E, X, XTC, Pill, Nozzes, Disco Biscuits, Sweeties, Lil ones/'uns/fellas, Adam, Gurns, Roundies, Brownies, Hug Drug, Burgers, Colours, Garries, Jack & Jills, Beans, Littles, Bim-Bams, Dubes, Shinies, Doobs, Smarties, Jubblies, Eckies, Edward, Elephants, Essence, Fantasy, Diamonds, M&M's, Tickets, CD's, Gary Ablets.

Prices:

The price on what people will offer the pills out can vary depending on where you buy, the quantity you are looking for and whether you are buying in the club or not.
More commonly people expect to pay anything between 70p - £10.

Classification/ Legality:

Ecstasy is a CLASS A drug listed by the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1971.

If caught and prosecuted in possession of the substance; the maximum sentence for possession is 7 years imprisonment with an unlimited fine, and for supply, life imprisonment and an unlimited fine.

Detection Periods (approximate):

MDMA: 4-6 hours, MDEA: 3-5 hours, MDA: 8-10 hours, MBDB: 4-6 hours.
These are approximated as it is dependant on numerous factors regarding qunatity taken, strength, purity as well as the individual concerned

But they can be used by employers to have you fired!

But that is a decision you would have to make before partaking in any recreational drug. If your work would random drug test then maybe it would be better not to do it in the first place?!? Fortunately there isn't a large call for this in most work places, even at my work (secondary school)... And is something that you will be aware of from the start.

A friend of mine did get drug tested for a job interview, he had been smoking dope and had done a little coke at a party knowing that this wouldn't be looked on as a reason to not hire him. Unfortunately the coke ended up being cut with ketamin...

Doesn't matter what you take, and how well you know your dealer, there are always a few nasty surprises in store!!!

Refusal to partake can also result in instant dismissal.

Like you say though, it's your choice to do so - I just wanted to clarify that they CAN and DO fire people for drug traces.

You should of asked one of the "cunting kids"!!! It's enevitable that most of my students will have something on them, ranging from a little smoke to coke and speed!!! One of the little-uns even does crack!!! You missed out mate, should of been the perfect place to score!!! lol

In my past a ran a drug testing machine !!! Long story lets just say the levels are set quite high in some cases and the assays to test are in some cases very expensive !! ie the steroid ones. The opiat and canibinoid ones are most often used. I have tested my self after a few weekends and come up negative !!! People used to use there friends Piss in squeezy bottles to fake the test and there friends had been smoking weed !!!!!!!! Canabis clings to the fat sells in your body so if you smoke regular it can satay in your piss for 56 days !! Most class a's are out in 12 to 24 hours and if you drink plenty of fluids and take vitamin c you can flush quicker !!! You hair will tell your full drug history Hair strand tests are the compleate dna give away nice one britany !!

Oh, i tried one of those pink 5 pointed stars last night, made me feel a lil shakey and heavy, but nothing felt bad about it.

Been hearing rumours not to touch them cos they are bad, but it seemed fine to me, i only took one tho and the effect only lasted 2-3 hours total and i was sober by the time i went to sleep so no hangover from it either.
