hiya,

phone has been ringing off the hook since the bombs went off here today and now the mobile network is down so thought i'd put a lil post on here.

as i understand, there was a terrorist attack today in Dahab, three bombs were detonated. Over 30 people have been killed & over 150 have been injured.

Dahab is about 30mins from where I am in Sharm El Sheikh. None of our friends here were anywhere near that resort and everyone is safe and sound.

The (already tight) security in Sharm has been stepped up about 10fold, so I think we're pretty safe.

last night in sharm all the hotels imposed a kerfew - if you wanted to leave the hotel you had to sign a waver to say they advised you against it, andf that the hotel was not liable. dodgy stuff.

all back to normal today though, sun's out and another beatutiful in the sinai!
